Monthly Challenge

Challenge Rules, Guidelines & Important Info

1. Only 1 submission per person is eligible to receive a prize.

2. Submissions are only eligible for prizes until February 21, 2026 by 11:59PM.

3. Submissions must be 3-5 pages, optionally with up to 3 additional pages for an Appendix.

Submissions may be written in plain language; academic formatting, citations, or visual design are not required.

4. Submissions will be scored on defensibility, originality, feasibility and values-based alignment.

5. Prizes are $250 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place, $50 for 3rd place and $20 for places 4-10.

A minimum of 10 unique and eligible submissions received by the deadline are required for prizes to be awarded. In the case of truly exceptional submissions, prizes may be awarded regardless of the minimum required submission count.

6. Submissions found to contain AI content will be ineligible for prizes.

Submissions must be written primarily by the submitter; light tools such as spellcheck are acceptable, but AI-generated text or ideas will result in disqualification.

7. Only submissions that demonstrate a clear understanding of intrast will be eligible for prizes.

8. Submissions must include the author's name and email, and be formatted as a PDF.
